The National Bank’s Business Checking Account applies an “earnings credit” to the monthly fees, which are based on account activity. The earnings credit is calculated on the average collected balance for the month less reserve requirements. If the balance in the account is sufficient, so that the earnings credit exceeds the monthly charges, no charges are assessed. A separate analysis statement details the activity and calculations for the earnings credit.
Non-Personal Interest Checking
The Super Now Business Checking Account is available to sole proprietorships and non-profit organizations. Interest is paid on the daily collected balance and is compounded and credited monthly. The monthly maintenance fee and activity fees are waived if a $1,500 minimum balance or a $2,000 average balance is maintained during the month.
Business Money Market Account
For commercial customers with investable funds, this Money Market Account pays a competitive rate of interest. The flexibility of unlimited deposits and limited withdrawals and check writing allows you to manage your business dollars and have your money work for you. The monthly maintenance fee and activity fees are waived if a $2,500 average balance is maintained during the month.
Business Money Market Investor Account
The National Bank’s Business Money Market Investor Account is designed for the business whose investable funds equal $10,000 or more.The minimum balance to open the account and obtain the premium interest rate is $10,000. If the balance falls below $10,000, the interest rate reverts to the regular MMA rate. The monthly maintenance fee and activity fees are waived if a $2,500 average balance is maintained during the month.
